This always feels good. We’re gonna start this one off with a correction. Remember how in a previous email I said that the excellent new “Journey into the Jungle” horror series BREATH OF SHADOWS was on final order cutoff today? Of course you do. I sent that email like 14 hours ago or something. Well, eagle-eyed reader Brandon Schatz pointed out that I was off… By about a month. Turns out the book isn’t on FOC this week because I totally missed that. It is actually in stores this week. Whoops!
Remember how I talked about how important it is to preorder and how much it helps a new series, even though it means a little more work for you, the reader? Well, good news/bad news. You don’t get to preorder this one. You blew it. I will take a little bit of responsibility for that. Maybe 30-35%. Maybe 40%. But the good news? You don’t have to preorder the book at all! You can just stroll into your local comic shop on Wednesday and grab a copy! So my colossal stupidity just saved you some trouble. Really, if you think about it, I’m the hero here.
Anyway, apologies to Rich and Alex. Make sure to grab their excellent book this week. And extra thanks to Brandon for pointing out my faux pas.
