WELCOME BACK TO IDEAS DON’T BLEED!
This week, we are once again joined by Kelly Thompson (Black Widow / Captain Marvel / Amazing Spider-Man) and Ed Brisson (Predator / Batman Incorporated / Beyond the Breach) as we dive deeper into their collaboration with Matt on Uncanny X-Men!
If you missed the first part you can hear it and all our other episodes right here.
And you can find out about all things Kelly from her excellent newsletter as well.
To read the complete series you can pick up UNCANNY X-MEN: DISASSEMBLED in paperback or fancy hardcover wherever comics are sold. And if you want to see what the book is all about, you can read the first issue for free here.
And if you aren’t subscribed for our newsletter, you probably should be. It’s chock full of nonsense and dumb stuff, just like the podcast!
IDEAS DON’T BLEED is an all-new weekly podcast presented by Ashcan Press and featuring Matthew Rosenberg, the Supple Boiz, and wonderful guests from the world of comic books!
Our theme song is “Where’s the Poison” by Summer People
Enjoy!
Hi all,
early reports indicate that last weeks episode, part one of our X-Men discussion, was our most popular episode yet. So thanks for listening and sharing! It means a lot to us. Hope you all like part two.
This week is a fun one because it’s double IDB week! That’s right, it is once again time for our little monthly livestream. This week’s guest is the great Tini Howard (CATWOMAN / EXCALIBUR / ASSASSINISTAS) at 5pm EST on Wednesday. We’re going to be talking about all kinds of stuff, including her new creator owned book PHENOMENOCITY.
We will also be taking questions from all of you! So you can comment below with your questions, reply to this email, write us at ideasdontbleedpod@gmail.com, or just show up and comment on the stream on Wednesday! If that seems like too many ways to get in touch, it’s because it is!
And if you ask our favorite question of the show you will win a prize from our wonderful sponsors THIRD EYE COMICS!
I’ll be sending out a reminder on Wednesday. Hope to see you there. Well, not see you. But hope to see you represented as a number in the “how many people are watching this livestream” window.
Stay safe. Take care of each other. I feel like we probably weren’t supposed to mention the bomb threat.
