WELCOME BACK TO IDEAS DON’T BLEED!

This week, we’re joined once again by Phillip Kennedy Johnson (Action Comics / Alien) as we discuss his comics origins, his background in music, taking over The Incredible Hulk at Marvel Comics, and more!

IDB is an all-new weekly podcast presented by Ashcan Press and featuring Matthew Rosenberg, the Supple Boiz, and wonderful guests from the world of comic books!

Our theme song is “Where’s the Poison” by Summer People.

Enjoy!

Hi again.

We’re back with Part II of our chat with Phillip. If you missed Part I you can find it here. Whenever I write that I never know what part to make the link. Just the word here? Part I? You can find it here? I opted for the whole sentence this time and it feels like a cop out.

Anyway, I’m really happy with how this episode came out. I always like hanging out with Phillip and this was a good talk. In a true testament to how much I should not be the host of a podcast, we did not really discuss his current series GREEN LANTERN: WAR JOURNAL but we did talk a lot about human trafficking, a subject I am not at all qualified to speak on.

GREEN LANTERN WAR JOURNAL #1 CVR C DAVE WILKINS CSV
Greenest cover ever.

Anyway, GREEN LANTERN: WAR JOURNAL is great and you should all get it. INCREDIBLE HULK is great and you should get it. Basically everything Phillip writes is great and you should get it, but especially if it’s green.

That’s it for me.

Stay safe. Take care of each other. Really didn’t mean to talk about human trafficking so much.

IDEAS DON'T BLEED podcast
A weekly podcast where hosts Matthew Rosenberg, Ethan S. Parker, and Griffin Sheridan talk to guests from around the world of comic books. It's fun. It's short. Why not give it a listen?
