And we’re back. New podcast episode and it’s a good one. The great Patrick Horvath has joined us to talk about his art, his career, his Eisner nominated series BENEATH THE TREES WHERE NOBODY SEES, but mostly reality TV. Give it a listen and go buy all of his books.

As time seems to refuse to stop moving forward, it would seem that we are now approaching issue #2 of IF DESTRUCTION BE OUR LOT… heading to shelves. With that in mind FOC is this weekend so now would be a good time to call your local shop and tell them you want it. If you missed the first issue, have no fear. A lot of shops still have copies and those that don’t have 2nd prints headed their way very soon. But in the meantime let’s look at these sexy as hell covers.

Speaking of our little book, we’ve decided to come out of hiding and sign some copies.

Starting tomorrow at the home base of Midtown Comics, myself, Andy, and Mark will be at Brave New Worlds and a nearby WaWa on Friday, and Third Eye in Annapolis on Saturday. There we will be joining buddies Pornsak Pichetshote and Sanford Greene as they are promoting their little comic ABSOLUTE GREEN ARROW. Sounds cute.

The following weekend myself and Andy will be Kingston, NY at World’s End Comics. Then on June 20th will be at Final Boss in Lawrenceville, NJ. And finally I’ll be joining Erica Schultz (Rat City / The Scorched) as we celebrate all things Spawn at The Geekery in Matawan, NJ.

If you’re one of the first 10 folks at any of these signings we will have a very fun gift for you.

Thought I’d share another fun interview I did recently.

This one was with my friends from Comic Book Club. We talked life, Abraham Lincoln, Spawn, and nicknames I don’t want. Always one of my favorite podcasts to be on and to listen to.

Since we’re signing with my buddy Pornsak Pichetshote, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention his excellent new book ABSOLUTE GREEN ARROW #1 is in stores today. If you’ve ever read any of his work you’re probably already buying it. If you’ve never read any of his work, grab a copy along side the collected editions of INFIDEL and THE GOOD ASIAN. You can thank me later.

But you should also definitely be reading his excellent newsletter Day 2, especially if you’re at all curious about how a comic is made and what the life of a writer looks like. Highly recommended.
