I was very excited we could sit down all together and talk about our new books and catch up. There has been a lot of talk lately about growing excitement in comics across the board. DC is kicking ass. Boom! is kicking ass. Oni. Mad Cave. Fantagraphics. Self Made Hero. Etc. Shops are doing great. News customers are appearing. There is general enthusiasm for the medium and the work. And I really think Image is at the forefront of so much of that. It is genuinely exciting for me to be a part of, but also to be a fan of. I hope some of that enthusiasm we have here bleeds over to you.

And while you’re reading this I can’t recommend enough going and subscribing to everyone’s various newsletters and whatnot.
