... I'm not sure it's worth all that. But maybe if you got yourself a nice lunch too. Went to a park. Really made an afternoon of it. That could be good.
Finished it up. Great chat, very fascinated with how the sausage was made on that specific and weird era. Talked to a couple folks who were working concurrently and a lot of this is adding some great color
I’m sure it won’t. I mean no offense to anyone on the books now because there are some really good X-Books coming out right now, but I miss you three working on X-Books. That said, I’m super pumped for WildCATS and absolutely love What’s the Furthest Place From Here?, and Kelly and Ed having been doing great Marvel, DC, and creator owned stuff as well.
So this was a great episode. I have a question/request for part 2 if it hasn’t already been recorded. Can any of you talk about what you would have done differently on the books you were working on if you hadn’t know the Krakoa reset was coming. Matthew, I think you mentioned in a Word Balloon interview a while back, that your run on Uncanny would have been pretty different. If you all can talk about it, great! If you can’t or don’t want to, I understand as well. Thank you!
That is a great question! But we taped it all at once, so we can't directly answer it next week. But I feel like we do discuss it a little? Maybe not. I might be misremembering.
Oh shit!! Now this is the content I’ll skip out of work early for!

Can’t wait for part 2! Great view behind the curtain from some of fav creators!
Aww thanks. There's a bomb in part 2!
You know that meme from The Onion where that creepy guy with a shirt that says SICKOS goes "Yes!"?
That's how I, a guy who was VERY invested in 2018 X-Men, feel at this very moment.
I do know that meme. I am often that guy.

Oh cool! I’m looking forward to listening to this. I really enjoyed the last run if Uncanny X-Men.
Thanks. I hope this podcast doesn't make you hate it.

I very much appreciate the amount of practical insight about working for the Big 2 here. Good stuff!
Aw, thanks man! I never know if this stuff is boring for other people, so I appreciate it.
