Wondering if there's any new info on the 7" situation for WTFPFH? It looks like the deluxe editions are shipping without records now and it would be nice to get an update. (Totally get the whole supply chain situation, mostly want to know if we should expect them at all.)
Thanks for the kind words. Sure, happy to give an update. I don't do it a lot because it always feels like "everything that can go wrong is going wrong still" but I can do it. So the 3rd record has been at our distributor Diamond's warehouse for since the start of June. At the end of June we got word that they were going to be shipping the 3rd record with the 7th issue and so we scrambled to stop them. Do to some miscommunication I don't understand what they did instead was just ship the 7th issue without the records. So they sent out a notice asking retailers to hold onto those. And then, for reasons I also still don't quite understand, they then shipped the reprint covers for 6 and 7 after that. As for the records I have been told that #4 should be shipping to them this month. But they're taking more than 2 months to ship them to stores so I am not sure when that puts it out. Every other record and reprint is in the production queue, we're just waiting for time on the machines and materials.
