Such a great quote. I am a small town concert promoter in Northern California and this is great advice for anyone in any creative field right now. There is no making it, there's only work work work. So many of the local musicians think you just show up and play, but there is so much more that goes into it. If you don't want to do the work, you can't book the gig. And you have to continue to do the work every single time. It can get easier, but you always have to keep working. Thanks for this great reminder. ❤️
