I told you we were hard at work on new things. And today we announce the first of those. WE’RE TAKING EVERYONE DOWN WITH US is a new Image Comics series co-created by my old Punisher collaborator Stefano Landini and myself.
The story follows a 13-year-old girl named Annalise who’s left all alone in the world after her mad-scientist father is killed by the world’s greatest spy. Now, alongside her dead dad’s robot bodyguard, Annalise has a choice: try to lead a normal life for the first time ever or seek revenge and maybe overthrow the world order in the process. It launches March 26th in comic shops everywhere.
My WHAT’S THE FURTHEST PLACE FROM HERE? collaborators Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou, Roman Titov, and Jason Wordie are also working on the book with us. Becca Carey did our logo and design that you see here. And we’re joined by the great Courtney Menard, Steve Foxe, and Eric Harburn of Tiny Onion, who are helping keep the ship running and looking good.
Stefano and I have been slowly working on it for a few years now and it is one of my favorite things I’ve ever written. Likewise, I’ve loved Stefano’s work since we first worked on The Punisher together years ago, and I think he’s doing the best work of his career. I’ll be talking a lot more about all of this in the coming months but if you want to know more The Hollywood Reporter has all your info, including a first look at the opening of the book and some of our great covers. Read it here.
We’re all really excited to bring you along this journey with us.
Stay safe. Take care of each other. Make comics.
