I know we don’t know each other, and I’m here to support creators I like in what little ways I can, but hang in there. And if June also sucks, hang in there. Because there’s always Hall & Oates playing somewhere.
I agree with you sir fuk may...I was born on the 1st and this has been one of the worst months worst months of my life... So yeah I second that fuk Mayo...
Sorry to hear about your rough month, hope June is off to a better start. Steve Albini's passing was heartbreaking, with that and losing Rick Froberg last year it feels like my favorite era of music itself is dead. But driving around at night with "Bad Houses" blasting has helped a bit.
Re: newsletters. I think there's a consumer-side advantage that people don't consider. It's much less suspicious for me to be reading emails at work than scrolling some dumb social media timeline. So they're great for doing time theft at dumb office jobs!
very meaningful: "it's so crucial to support artists on platforms where they have a direct line to you, like this one. There is no algorithm being used here to build an audience and then co-opt it away from me."

I really appreciate it. I have a good feeling about June.
But also Hall & Oates took out restraining orders against each other. I'm not sure they should be who we hang our hopes on.
Sure but I’d hang my hopes on Rock n Soul Pt. 1 any day
How can you not? It's all hits!
Hopefully just like your June, but good hits. Not the bad hits!

Happy belated birthday and I hope you have the best month of your life this June!
Thank you good sir...I will try my hardest.. hopefully the universe is kind to me.. this June thanks again man.same to you
Fuck May and fuck social media.
Also, I wish more creators would have blogs or newsletters because it's actually impossible to follow anyone on IG.
Yeah. I got to Instagram late and it just doesn't work the way it should for me. I don't get it.
