Morgan’s is a FANTASTIC shop. They more than live up to their moniker as the “nerd sanctuary,” and after having had the privilege to visit the shop years ago and talk to Morgan herself, I’m not surprised in the least to hear that they’re expanding their remit to “community sanctuary.”
Unrelated to this episode's guests, but I just read issue 1 of The Tin Can Society and thought it was excellent. I've generally been having an abnormal (in a positive way) day though, which may be contributing to my enjoyment of it.
Have had almost no one else in the office at work, very little that I need to do, so I've been alternating between reading what I picked up at the shop during my lunch (Plastic Man No More #2 was also fun), and doing a re-read of 17776 on my computer (one of the best sci-fi/humanist stories I've read, definitely recommend it to anyone that hasn't read it). I also have barely eaten anything, today, partially because I don't have much around that sounds good at the moment, and partially because I'm meeting friends for dinner tonight and would rather be too hungry than not hungry enough.
Is the cult on the submarine, or was that a separate wacky adventure that has concluded?
Got off the submarine, saw some shit down there that changed him, joined a cult. The normal progression.
